I've seen a number of videos on YT talking about claying without the need for a polish afterwards. They say their synthetic clay is less abrasive and so does not mar the paint. John, what are your thoughts?

After watching a few reviews with Autoglym ceramic spray looks like its quite a long lasting product and in combination with the wet finish product would be a long lasting product between applications.

Does anyone know please whether you are supposed to wax over the top of the Touch-On coat? It seems very shiny and hydrophobic by itself but obviously doesn't last as long as a wax. Also, BH recommend using it monthly, would it still do the same job if there was already wax on the car?

Jon, I mixed up a Touchon sachet in my foam cannon over the weekend but didnt end up spaying it? Will it still be good to use a week from now or is it trash?

It is one of the more interesting new companies in America that I want to check out. I think there's some pretty good competition though. Realistically, I've met people that only use Meguire's consumer line that have stunning cars. I think Adams and Jay Leno have some pretty solid offerings as well. I've been using Carpro just because of a cost of effectiveness. As my Carpro supply is dwindlinh I'm looking to order some some Armour Detail products or Shine Supply. The NV line looks solid but if we don't have to ship things around the globe needlessly that seems optimal.

Sure for $30,000 paint jobs I wouldn’t, but for the home car cleaner that has a production car they just want to save time, why not?

I don`t like Gyeon coatings primarily because their coatings contain Xylem, which is highly CANCEROGENIC - you can find that if you read their MSDS papers - so thanks, but NO THANKS!

What I'm hearing is that reapplying trim coatings after a few years can be a pain in the ass, and difficult to get as nice as the first application... thoughts? Also, would you recommend this for new cars, or wait until the plastic starts to fade?

😳SolutionFinish's grandpa says NOT to ceramic-coat trim because re-application of his cannot be then done! 🤌

I’ve clay bared the car, polished the scratches and holograms then waxed ( angelwax enigma) what could you recommend to maintain and keep the car popping and give a great gloss shine? Love your channel spend hours watching and learning.

Will be interesting to see how well this updated product performs. To date I have not found anything better Gtechniq's C4 Permanent Trim Restorer. Used it on my daily driver just over 2 years back and still looks great for a car that doesn't get garaged overnight.

Bought this brush and regret it. Uses waaay too much product, think ill stick to sponge 😕

Thanks for the video Jon. I am starting to get a little cynical about all of these different ceramic coatings. I'd bet a weeks wages that there is almost no difference chemically, to a ceramic coating listed as 'for plastics', to one 'for paint', or one 'for glass' or one for something else. I do think we are being taken advantage of, and I would bet a standard ceramic coating for paint could be used on anything else without any problems. I just get the feeling they are trying to sell us basically the same product four or five times, for four or five different parts of the vehicle, and making four or five times the money from us !!!

In your mega reviews you often criticise the poor instructions on some products, but in this review you didn’t appear to refer to the instructions leaflet. Or maybe you’d referred to it before filming to make sure you were using the recommended method in the video. Agree with your general view re great quality of Gyeon products

Have you found you need to wipe dry afterwards to prevent water spotting? Or can you just spray on, rinse off with distilled water and blow dry or leave to dry naturally?

May i remove hologram with silk and menzerna 3000?

Had to buy myself a bottle of this today after trying for days to remove really Stubborn water spots. Although it’s made a big difference there are some really stubborn water spots left which the fse will not remove. Maybe the paint work is a little warm today I don’t know if that makes a difference. Not sure what to do now . Maybe a second application on a cooler day will help.

Trim coatings rock. I would say they are underrated. They actually make your trim look better for ages and are so easy to use. Nothing compares….

Cheap MR fix 9h crap on paint great on plastic satin finish is very nice last 2 years and even then it doesn’t completely wear off.

Kind of related, but if you wanted to restore rubber trim around windows, what would you do? My research so far has gotten me to cerakote wipes or solution finish + ceramic coating like mohs or cquartz. I have a 2y old car which is spotless beside this now grey looking rubber trim from sun and whatever else..

i have never used this product but i have used carpro dlux its good stuff even on headlights 👍

You hit the nail on the head....when you have the time to do a job right it's always so much better. I find myself rushing half the time and pay the price for it. Great review as always.

I think you need a way to include the starting gloss measurement as a modifier for the calculation. The higher the original gloss the result is weighted up

Interested whether you would use this in conjunction with auto glyms Polar Seal. The Polar seal is recommended to use once a month.

After this coating how do we maintenance weekly for washing car? Can I still apply grass cleaner spray or not just normal wipe out?

New to all this and math isnt my stong point put when you showed that pressure washer bottle 1% of that is surely a cap full of the foamless? If your putting 330ml of the foamless in the bottle surely a hole bottle will only last 3 washes? I cant get my head around it. As i say maths isnt my strong point.
